the_nidus mission is to be a nest of interaction and dialogue, where persons of different background, culture, nationality and orientation shall be able to share knowledge & experiences, gain new skills or build on existing ones, cultivate acceptance of cultural diversity, volunteer, develop their creative/ innovative potential, get empowered to take initiatives and develop their self-esteem and confidence in the context of a challenging an ever-changing society
Our story
the_nidus is a fresh NGO established in 2023 in Thessaloniki, Greece with a view to bring together the shared vision of five professionals on civil society, the environment, education, culture and sustainability, with an emphasis on youth.
the_nidus seeks to achieve its objectives through youth exchange and mobility activities, training and seminars, events, development of non-formal education material, awareness-raising campaigns, collaboration with domestic and international organizations, support of youth initiatives, information of the civil society.
The accumulated expertise of the_nidus expands across social sciences, media, law, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, arts and engineering, creating a diverse mix of knowledge and stories ready to be told, and looking forward to hearing the stories of others.
