Promoting Equitable Dialogue – Our Collaboration with BLL Norway

In November 2023, the_nidus had the honor of participating in a powerful bilateral collaboration with Bjerkaker LearningLab (BLL) from Norway, under the Active Citizens Fund in Greece, supported by the EEA Grants 2014–2021.

On November 29, we proudly hosted a lecture-seminar for 19 young participants titled:
“Active Dialogue: Using Multipartiality for More Equitable Dialogue Facilitation.”

This seminar introduced tools for:

• Practicing multipartial facilitation in diverse group settings
• Encouraging inclusive and fair dialogue
• Promoting active citizenship and democratic values

The workshop helped empower young people to think critically, listen actively, and engage in dialogue with empathy and fairness — key components for a stronger and more equitable civil society.

This initiative was made possible through the Active Citizens Fund, a €15 million program supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, aiming to strengthen civil society and promote human rights across Europe.

We are proud to be part of this effort and look forward to continuing our collaboration with BLL and other like-minded organizations across Europe!
