About the project

Emotional & Artificial Intelligence – Personal and Digital Transformation for Youth Workers is a project that combines emotional awareness with digital innovation, aiming to equip youth workers with tools that enhance both their personal growth and professional capacities. Through a unique blend of non-formal education, mindfulness practices, and AI training, the project promotes transformation on both human and technological levels.

The project is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, which supports education, training, youth and sport initiatives across Europe, fostering inclusion, cooperation and lifelong learning.

Emotional & Artificial Intelligence – Personal and Digital Transformation for Youth Workers bridges emotional intelligence (EI) and artificial intelligence (AI) to support the personal and professional development of youth workers. By combining digital literacy, mindfulness, and non-formal learning, the program provides a holistic approach to transformation in youth work.

the_nidus is proud to be part of this dynamic consortium of 7 partners committed to inclusive education and emotional well-being in the digital age.

Activities
The one-week training course is structured around 7 thematic days: Rooting, Understanding, Assessing, Managing Resources, Engaging, Designing, and Transforming. Activities include:

  • Nature-based practices and somatic movement
  • Workshops on AI tools and digital transformation
  • Sessions on emotional intelligence, non-violent communication, and storytelling
  • YouthPass-based self-assessment and group reflection

Expected Impact
This project aims to:

  • Develop digital and emotional competences among youth workers
  • Foster social inclusion and intercultural understanding
  • Promote innovation in non-formal education methods
  • Inspire new local and international partnerships and initiatives

The outcomes will be shared widely through an open-access digital toolkit, promoting the methodology to youth organizations across Europe.
